Privacy policy
Instagram Scheduler (instagramscheduler.com, "we") lets you plan posts and publish them to the Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages you connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can remove it.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and profile photo from sign-up, your timezone and posting times, and your plan and billing status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- From Instagram and Facebook, when you connect an account: the account or Page name, username, profile picture, the account and Page IDs, and the access tokens Meta issues so we can publish for you.
- Your posts: the captions, images and videos you upload, the accounts and times you choose, and, once published, the post IDs, links and engagement metrics (views, likes, comments, shares and saves) that Instagram and Facebook report.
- Technical data: sign-in sessions and basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
We use your Instagram and Facebook data only to publish the posts you schedule, at the times you choose, to the accounts you pick, and to show you their status and metrics in the app. We don't read your messages, post anything you didn't schedule, sell your data, or use it for advertising. Access tokens are stored on our servers and are only sent to Meta's APIs.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the app for us: Meta (to publish your posts), our hosting, database and file storage providers, Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments) and our email provider. Each processes data only on our behalf. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Connected account data and tokens: until you disconnect the account.
- Posts, media and metrics: until you delete them or your account.
- Your account: until you delete it. Billing records are kept as tax law requires.
Deleting your data
- Disconnect an account on the Accounts page. Its tokens and profile details are deleted right away, along with its post history and metrics.
- Remove the app in Meta: in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Apps and Websites. Meta tells us, and we delete that account's data. You can check the status on our data deletion page.
- Delete everything: email support@instagramscheduler.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account and all its data within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email support@instagramscheduler.com. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and email you about anything significant. Questions: support@instagramscheduler.com.
